"Seattle Seismic just completed an earthquake retrofit on my split level home. They did the work from the outside, removing the siding to access the foundation. This saved all the mess that would have happened if they worked from inside. It was a big project, but went smoothly thanks to communication with Ryan and his team. I had a lot of questions during the week long project, and all of my concerns were addressed. I was impressed with Ryan's responsiveness and his willingness to make sure they were keeping me happy. After the project was completed, Ryan sent me a document giving details of the work performed that was created by a structural engineering company, so I have confidence that the work done was solidly planned out, and I have a record of the work that was done. It took me about 3 or 4 years of thinking about doing a retrofit before I actually scheduled it to be done. During that time I got 4 quotes, which were all closely within range, but Seattle Seismic was slightly less expensive and seemed to be slightly easier to work with. It was a good experience and I will recommend them to friends, family and clients...and you!"

"Seattle Seismic just finished earthquake retrofitting of my 1944 house. They passed inspection on the first review. Most notable is the amazing job they did replacing the drywall that had to be sawed off to expose the foundation and install the plates. It's not an exaggeration to say that you would not know the construction had happened, their drywall work is that good. They also paint the new drywall. I contracted them do some extra work, replacing the entire ceiling in a basement room that had damaged ceiling tiles, and they did an exemplary job on that as well.
